Who we are. This website is run by NCMS Regional League, which decides what personal information is collected through it and how that information is used. The website is hosted for NCMS Regional League by American True Merit, which stores and processes the information only on NCMS Regional League's behalf. What we collect.
- What you give us: for example your name, email address, phone number and postal address when you create an account, register, sign up or contact us, and what you post or send through the website.
- Sign-ins: each time you sign in we record the date and time, your IP address and the name your browser gives for itself and your device (its user agent), to keep accounts secure.
- Policy views and agreements: when you open this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Use we record the date and time, your IP address and your browser's user agent; when you agree to a policy we also record the name you sign with and the version you agreed to.
- Messages: the emails the website sends you, such as notices about your account, are kept so that you can read them again on the website.
Cookies. When you sign in, the website places a cookie named SessionID in your browser that keeps you signed in. It ends when you close the browser, or after 30 days if you choose Remember me. While you use the website, a cookie that ends when you close the browser keeps your place, and short-lived cookies, which end within minutes or days, are used while you sign in, register, recover your account or reset your password. If you vote in a poll, a cookie remembers for one year that this browser has voted. None of these cookies is used for advertising.
How we use it. To run the website and NCMS Regional League's programs and services, to keep your account secure, to send you the notices your account needs and the messages you choose to receive, and where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Who sees it. NCMS Regional League's staff and volunteers, as far as their roles need; American True Merit, which hosts the website; and the services that deliver the website's email and take its payments, only to do so. Otherwise we share it only where the law requires.
How long we keep it. Only as long as it is needed for these purposes, or as long as the law requires.
Keeping it safe. We protect personal information with reasonable safeguards against loss, theft and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or change.
Your choices. You can see and correct much of your information in your account. To ask for a copy of your information, or for it to be corrected or deleted, write to keith.turgeon@taybs.org. Marketing emails carry an Unsubscribe link that stops them.
Changes. NCMS Regional League may change this policy. The date at the top says when this version took effect, and each earlier version is kept.
Cookies and visit records. This site places a cookie named VisitorID in your browser, which lasts one year. It holds a random number that tells one browser from another; it does not hold your name, your email address or anything else about you. We use it to count how many different visitors see the site and its pages, and how many see or click a sponsor's logo. If you are signed in when you click a sponsor's logo, the click is also recorded against your account, and league staff can see which members clicked. Sponsors are shown totals only, never who looked or clicked. For each page viewed we record the page, the day, the kind of device (phone, tablet or desktop) and the name of the website that linked you here, if any. We keep these records in detail for 24 months; after that they are reduced to monthly totals that identify no visitor and no member. We do not use the cookie for advertising, and it does not follow you to other websites.
